The use of COTS technology can prove valuable in any design, however, it requires testing and qualification for space and the radiation environment that will be encountered.
We have extensive experience designing, organising and implementing trials of many technologies including memory devices, processors, FPGAs, ASICs and complete electronic sub-systems. We have tested for total-ionising dose and single event effects at heavy ion, fast protons/neutrons, thermal neutrons, flash x-ray and gamma facilities all over the globe.
